warning signs:

Do you feel as if you have to walk on eggshells
to keep your partner from getting angry?

Do they emotionally abuse you (insults, belittling comments, ignore you, acting sulky or angry when you initiate an action or idea)?

Do they isolate you from friends and family, how you should dress or try to control other parts of your life or relationship?

Does he/she get jealous when there is no reason?

Does your partner threaten to Out you?

Does he/she hit you, slap you or kick you?

Does your partner force you to have sex?

Does your partner make you doubt your own judgement?

Does he/she threaten to turn the LGBT community against you?

Does he/she threaten to commit suicide or to leave you if you don’t want to do as they ask?

Have they deliberately destroyed or damaged something you value?

Does he/she blame you for ‘causing’ them to ‘lose’ control?

Do you feel that no matter what you do it’s never right?

Do they tell you that you are worthless, unattractive, that no one else would want you?
